THE PHOTOGRAPHIC HISTORICAL SOCIETY OF CANADA

PHSC E-Mail Newsletter

Editor - Robert Lansdale

Robert Lansdale, MPA HLM

Bob Lansdale created this electronic newsletter to promote the society and encourage a greater turnout for the Toronto meetings. It is based on the PHSC News Sheet, previously created as a meeting notice and to offer last-minute news items to PC Journal mailings. Converting to digital delivery using Adobe Acrobat added the ability to share colour images with members.

The Newsletter is issued each month just before the Toronto meeting and at special times to announce updated items. If you would like to receive the E-Mail Newsletter, please contact us at info@phsc.ca.

Click on a cover shot below to read that issue in your browser or download a copy. The files may take a few minutes to open over a dial-up connection.

How did he do it?

Editor Robert Lansdale usually comes up with a striking portrait of our guest speaker. Click the image at left to learn just how he manages this feat using an inexpensive Kodak digital camera (and 50 years of experience :-)

Nb. as of 2005 Bob graduated to a Nikon D70 DSLR with sharper, cleaner images.
