Leica Repairs: Canadian Factory Service

 Factory Repairs For All Leicas

VITH

Shown is a rare Mountain Elmar in front of the first English Leica Handbook by Fritz Vith (1933). This book has many line drawings of early Leicas and lenses. It addresses an audience of large format photographers to introduce them to the now familiar 35mm format and routine enlargement of negatives.

Last summer I exchanged messages with Keith Matson at Kindermann Canada Inc. regarding factory repairs to Leica cameras and lenses. All Leicas merit expert maintenance and repairs--especially the rarer old models. I was delighted to learn that the Leica Division of Kindermann (Canadian distributor for Leica Cameras, Projectors, and Binoculars) still offers factory repairs to all Leicas. Kindermann Canada is the only factory-authorized Leica repair center in Canada and the only factory-authorized Leica repair center in the world still servicing screw-mount Leicas dating back as far as 1925! Kindermann Canada has factory trained technicians, factory approved testing equipment and authentic Leica parts. Repairs are covered by a 12 month warranty.

Note: At the present time, Kindermann Canada no longer represents Leica Camera but they still do repairs.
